How I love this little boy.
Aglow with a zest for life.
He can now say Daddy Mamma
Dee and me.
Three months ago he said Bentley.
He made a friend, when he said “pretty”
Touching a sleeve of her top.
He points to things he wants us to see;
Particularly when it’s an aeroplane.
Felix can now count up to ten,
No fear of water, or anything.
He stayed awake for thirteen hours in total;
When traveling to his holiday home by plane.
Felix for me, was the star of the show.
He chatted watched TV continually on the go.
With outstretched arms, now racing to me
Laughing all the while, passing me by,
A steep step down, and the pool he spies,
Drawn to danger at every turn,
His mind like a sponge , eager to learn.
Felix likes his toes tickled,
And walking in his parents shoes.
But music makes him fizz,
Using his head, shoulders, arms and legs
He moves and laughs to every tune, there is.
