To strangers, he gave away his things;
He wondered what extra joy he could bring.
His toys, his books, were all donated.
Other charity shops, eagerly awaited;
Only the clothes on his back, were left on the rack.
His cupboards were empty, as were his draws;
He gave away his cat, with fluffy paws,
His little dog too, was given to the cause,
To The charity, that called at the door;
Were delighted to accept the furniture from every floor!
When his parents returned, he was punished for sure.
