He bit his nails until they bled
‘Twas a habit he couldn’t shed,
His friends asked him, what was going on in his head,
Couldn’t he think of doing other things, instead?
He shook his head, and wandered sadly away.
His nail biting habit, was with him to stay.
Until for his birthday, he was given, Lego!
And realised he must, let his fingernails grow.
Left alone; longer and stronger did his nails become,
The Boy was so happy, and no longer glum.
As now, he can pick, the tiny pieces up.
He builds all sorts of things, and is never fed up.
