Mother Nature shakes the last snow flakes
From her petticoats.
Unlaces her winter gown giving warmth to the ground.
The soil gives way to display bright shoots turning into sweet scented blooms.
All in London’s Kensington Gardens away from the city centre fumes.
Soon daffodils will follow the tiny white snow drops and crocuses in the park.
Followed by stately multi coloured tulips and the song of the lark.
