Summer is now sadly done.
Shadows have lengthened cooling the warmth from the sun.
Boats and playthings all stowed away;
Hopefully pulled out again, on another fine day.
Holiday friendships, vowed to Last forever,
Now stowed away too
But fading and finishing.
