From dawn to dusk, his voice could be heard.
The shrillness frightened even the birds.
Everyone told him to speak more quietly,
He ignored their request, continuing loudly.
Some used earmuffs, to muffle the din;
Others trash sacks, and some even bins.
The neighbours next door, could stand the noise no more;
The value of their house, fell through the floor.
They found this to be so, when they decided to go.
Other houses in the street, for sale signs did show.
But one day, all was incredibly quiet;
The Boy’s vocal cords, had at last worn away.
Neighbours returned, they are here to this day
And the birds and animals, came home to stay.
