I would love to hear of accolades regarding
foreign diplomats.
Sadly, rarely do we hear of positive, successful
work in evidence.
Five thousand passengers stranded in Thailand
recently,
Medication and money running out, alarmingly.
But, by the British Embassy they were informed,
Must be contacted – only in an emergency.
What constitutes for those officials an SOS ?
Plague, pestilence, an invasion from Mars no
less?
The diplomatic service seems to have no purpose.
They may have lost their identity, it should be
heeded.
To improve the service an overhaul is needed.
They are described as androids they must become
humanised!
Training, pay and conditions should be urgently
scrutinised.
