It was voting day, and his father was aiming to vote.
“ I know we disagree, but we must think of the economy.”
The Boy’s dad shouted, from behind the locked door, of the conservatory.
The lad had shut him in, preventing him from putting his vote into the voting bin.
The Boy wanted him to vote green, but his father wasn’t keen.
“We can’t save the planet without a good economy.”
Replied his very angry dad.
“But we can’t have a good economy without a healthy world.”
Replied The Boy.
“It’s against the law, to stop someone voting,”
His mother said as she set her husband free.
“Let’s go and have a slice of cake, and a nice cup of tea.”
